The VfL Pillau was a short-lived sports club in the German Reich , headquartered in today Russian city of Baltiysk .

history

For the 1943/44 season , the team rose to the 1st class in East Prussia. At the end of this season in the district group A Königsberg , the team was able to finish the season B with 10: 6 points in second place. In the 1944/45 season , all clubs that could still participate in the game were divided into the Gauliga East Prussia . After two days of play, the team was back in play due to the progression of the Second World War . At this point, the team was in fifth place with 2-2 points. After the annexation of East Prussia by the Soviet Union , the association was forcibly dissolved.
