The Viaduto de Xabregas is a railway viaduct in the Xabregas district of the Portuguese capital, Lisbon . It leads the tracks of the Linha do Norte over the Largo do Marquês de Nisa .

history

The viaduct was designed in 1854 by John Sutherland and Valentine CL: They erected stone arches over a length of 36 meters on which the railway tracks came to rest. In 1954 the viaduct was supplemented by a construction made of metal girders 15.6 meters in length.
