Vicencio (Enzo) Scarano Spisso (* 1963 ) is a Venezuelan politician and entrepreneur .

Life

He was elected mayor of the San Diego community , Carabobo state, in 2004 with 33.09% of the vote . In 2008 he was re-elected with 71.08% of the vote. He repeated in 2013 with 75.24% of the vote.

Scarano accused the national government of using too much force against the demonstrators. On March 19, 2014, the Higher Court sentenced Scarano to ten and a half months in prison in a quick trial for failing to remove the barricades. The opposition protested and said that the national government wanted to eliminate Scarano as a politician. Mr Scarano is the leader of the Cuentas Claras party .
