Victor Ferrier Noel-Paton, Baron Ferrier ED , DL (born January 29, 1900 in Edinburgh - † June 4, 1992 ) was a British soldier and businessman.

Victor Ferrier Noel-Paton was born in Edinburgh in 1900 as the son of a senior official of the Indian government who was temporarily director general for commercial intelligence . He went to school in Cargilfield and attended the Edinburgh Academy . He did his military service in 1918-19 with the Royal Engineers . He lived in India from 1920 to 1951 and had an excellent career in trade and politics in Bombay. During this time he came into management and leadership positions in several companies. He became President of the Chamber of Commerce in Bombay and was a member of the Bombay Legislative Council . He served from April 8, 1919 for a long time in the Bombay Light Horse of the Indian Auxiliary Force and eventually had the rank of major. He was an Honorary ADC to the Governor of Bombay . He served as a Captain in the Army in India Reserve of Officer from 1928 to 1934 , which was one of the 19th King George V's Own Lancers in the Indian Army. He received the Efficiency Decoration (ED) and was Deputy Lieutenant .

In 1932 he married Joane Mary, daughter of Sir Gilbert Wiles , KCIE, CSI and had a son and three daughters with her.

On September 24, 1958 he was Baron Ferrier , of Culter in the County of Lanarkshire Life Peer and thus a member of the House of Lords .
