Victoria Hanley

Victoria Hanley (born 20th century in Southern California ) is an American writer. She mainly writes novels for young people.

Life

Victoria Hanley is the daughter of a rocket scientist and nurse. After leaving home, she worked in various places in a variety of professions. She eventually went through formal training and received certificates in Montessori pedagogy and massage therapy. She then taught anatomy and massage techniques in private vocational schools. In 2003 her first novel, The Seer and the Sword , was published, the story of the maturation of the spoiled nine-year-old Princess Torina into a brave young woman. In addition to novels, she writes guides for young writers ( Seize the Story: A Handbook for Teens Who Like to Write , Wild Ink: Success Secrets to Writing and Publishing ) and teaches writing at the Lighthouse Writers Workshop in Denver and the Northern Colorado Writers in Fort Collins . It received several awards, including the Kalbach rattlesnake . Her books appear in ten languages ​​and 30 countries. She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators , the Colorado Association of Libraries, and the Colorado Author's League and lives in Loveland , Colorado.
