Four new great inventions of modern times
Four new great inventions of the modern time ( Chinese 新 四大 发明 , Pinyin xīn sì dà fāmíng , English Four new inventions - "Four new great inventions of the modern time") is a Chinese slogan that is propagated by the Chinese state media.
In Chinese they are called
- gāotiě 高 铁 ( high-speed trains , see CRH ),
- wǎnggòu 网 购 ( online shopping ),
- yídòng zhīfù 移动 支付 ( mobile payment ),
- gòngxiǎng dānchē 共享 单车 ( bike sharing ).
The slogan is named after the four great inventions ( Chinese 四大 发明 ) in ancient China. In 2017, the Chinese state media began promoting high-speed trains, mobile payment, e-commerce and rental bicycles without a docking station in mainland China. The "four new great inventions" were not invented in mainland China.
Rental bikes
Many rental bike start-ups were founded in China in 2017 , and there was an oversupply of rental bikes. As a result, new laws have been passed in this area and the industry has been regulated.
