ViewSonic is a US manufacturer of consumer electronics and one of the most important computer monitor brands in the United States. Founded in 1987, the company is based in Brea in Orange County , California . The worldwide cumulative annual turnover is approximately one billion US dollars . Founder, chairman and managing director is the Taiwanese James Chu.

The product range includes among other CRT - screens , thin clients , liquid crystal displays , video projectors , plasma screens , smart displays , HD inch TV, tablet PCs , smart phones, laptops and PCs and other electronics products.

Full company logo does not - as commonly believed - parrots , but to the finches belonging Gouldians represents.
