Vila Mou is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the northern Portuguese district of Viana do Castelo in the Minho-Lima sub-region . The community had 563 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013 the municipalities of Vila Mou and Torre were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Torre e Vila Mou .
