View from the Wilhelminenwand

The Vilemínina stěna (German Wilhelminenwand ) near Jetřichovice is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Bohemian Switzerland in the Czech Republic .

It is 439 m high and was named after Princess Wilhelmine Kinsky in the 19th century . Before it was called "Black Wall" (Cerna Stena). Below is “Balzers Lager” (Balzerovo lezeni) with an inscription: “Who is a master? Who came up with something. Who is a fellow? Who can do what. Who is an apprentice? Everyone. ”The inscription was carved in 1856 and the text is by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe . The name "Balzers Lager" goes back to the "courtship of the birds of prey" and the hunt on the Falkenstein that used to be common here .
