The Villa Levi (also Salamander Villa ) is a residential building in Feuerbacher Heide 38–42, a street in the north of Stuttgart on the Killesberg .

The villa was built in 1921 for Max Levi , at the time co-owner of the Salamander shoe factory in Kornwestheim . The architects responsible were Hugo Schlösser and Johann Weirether . Stylistically, the building design can be assigned to neoclassicism . To this day, the villa bears the name of the builder and first owner.

From April 1, 1946 to March 31, 2000, the villa was the seat of the Stuttgart library school (from 1947: South German library school , from 1965: South German library teaching institute , from 1971: Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences , from 1995: Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences - University of Libraries - and information systems ). After that, the listed property held by the city of Stuttgart stood empty for years. Tough sales negotiations failed until Rinol AG bought the villa in 2001. After their bankruptcy, Ferdinand Piëch's son, who works in the real estate business, acquired the property, which is to house a training center in the future.
