The constituency 1 is a constituency in the Styria , the city of Graz and the political District Graz- covers. In the 2015 state elections , the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) emerged as the strongest party with 28.3%, as in the 2010 state elections. Of the maximum of 15 basic mandates to be awarded, the SPÖ was able to unite four basic mandates, the Austrian People's Party also received three basic mandates as well as the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ), The Greens - The Green Alternative (GRÜNE) and the Communist Party of Austria (KPÖ) one basic mandate each.
