Villa Oesselmann

The Villa Oesselmann is located in Bremen , Gröpelingen district, Lindenhof district, Waltjenstrasse 140. It was built until 1888 according to plans by Albert Dunkel and H. Juchter (site management). The building has been a listed building in Bremen since 2001 .

history

The one to two-storey, brick-clad villa with a hipped roof , the base storey and a three-storey, mighty, central tower with a classicist portal and the rear bay window with balcony and gable and two side gables was built for the distillery owner in 1887/88 in the era of historicism Johann Friedrich Oesselmann built. Various medallions adorn the facade, the edges of which are highlighted by striking corner stones. Ten newer gable terraced houses were built on the plot of the villa standing in the depths.

Today (2018) the house is used as an advice center and practice.
