Villa mushroom
The Villa Pilz at Parkstrasse 4 in Dresden was built by Bernhard Schreiber between 1868 and 1869 and destroyed in 1945. The building cited the Villa Rosa von Semper , whereby the elevation scheme was characterized by the French country house building.
description
The villa was a two-storey plastered building made of sandstone. Both the front and side facades had a front length of five window axes, with a centrally mounted risalit taking up three window axes. The window axes located in the central projections were also summarized by a "reserve" ( pilaster architecture ), thereby emphasizing the vertical. The risalit was specially designed. A pilaster arrangement was placed on the wall surface, with an attic forming the crowning conclusion of the risalit. A terrace with a balcony was laid out in front of it.
The two outer window axes showed rectangular windows with balconies on the first floor, while all other windows had a round arch at the top.
