The Villa Wilder-Mann-Straße 29 , also Hörmann-Villa , is a listed building in Dresden - Trachau .

description

The building was built between 1911 and 1912 shortly before the outbreak of the First World War for the entrepreneur Max Ludwig Hörmann. He ran the biscuit, waffle and chocolate factory on Sternstrasse in Mickten , which was Germany's largest wafer producer in the 1930s. When Hörmann died, a sawmill owner bought the villa in the 1920s and used it as an apartment. After the Second World War , the Soviet local command for Trachau and Trachenberge had their headquarters here. In the meantime, used as a furniture store, the villa was used as Trachau's first daycare center from 1958 to 1995. The villa has been empty since 1995.

From 2008 to March 2010, the villa was renovated in accordance with the listed building standards and redistributed inside. Ten individual apartments between 45 and 210 square meters were built in the single-family villa. The stairwell has wood paneling and stucco ceilings.
