The villa rustica in Nettersheim-Roderath was a small Roman estate that was used from the end of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd and probably also in the 4th century. The Roman manor with its now reconstructed foundation walls is located about 800 m west of Roderath , a district of the municipality of Nettersheim , and was excavated from 1984 to 1989. The presumed main building consisted of half-timbering, had a stone base and a tiled roof. The four outbuildings documented so far were constructed in post construction and had clay framework walls. The remains of a stove and a water pipe were also found. The ground monument is now open to tourists.
