Villette Park
The Park Villette is a public park in the Swiss town of Cham .
geography
The park is located in the south of the city, directly on the north shore of Lake Zug . It is bordered to the east by the Lorze and to the north by the Zug – Lucerne railway line . The Cham ZG train station is about 50 m to the west and the Kath. Parish church St. Jakob with its cemetery 50 m north.
history
The owner was Ernst Rohmer until 1863 , who sold it to Heinrich Schulthess. Leonhard Zeugheer built the Villa Villette in 1863 . Theodor Froebel created Villette Park in 1865. The park is known for its collection of rare trees.
