Quetzin (Pomerania)

Quetzin was a rural community in the Prussian province of Pomerania that existed from 1928 to 1945 .

The community was formed in 1928 by amalgamating the two rural communities Alt Quetzin and Neu Quetzin (with the Bocksberg residential area ). The new rural community Quetzin covered a community area of ​​825.5 hectares. In 1933 there were 447 inhabitants, in 1937 460 inhabitants and in 1939 430 inhabitants.

Until 1945 the community of Quetzin belonged to the Kolberg-Körlin district in the Prussian province of Pomerania. The Alt Quetzin , Bocksberg and Neu Quetzin residential areas were officially listed in the community .

In 1945 the community of Quetzin, like all of Western Pomerania, came to Poland . The residents were driven out . The former municipality today belongs to the Gmina Ustronie Morskie (municipality Henkenhagen) in the powiat Kołobrzeski (Kolberger Kreis) .
