The Villmatstraße is a street in the northeast of Heilbronn . It runs parallel to the Hohenlohebahn . The street was named in 1905 after the eponymous win , which probably originates from a Celtic village .

Buildings and companies

  • At the Karlstor bus stop there was the Karlstorbahnhof on the railway line, the remains of which were dismantled in 2005.
  • Up until 1944, the Ebenezer children's sanatorium with its pavilion, which belonged to the Evangelical City Deaconess Association, was located at Villmatstrasse 13.
  • The listed Villa Racher is located at Villmatstrasse 17 .
  • There is a parking area for the Augustinus Church at the corner of Villmatstrasse and Goethestrasse .
  • The buildings at Villmatstrasse 35 to 39 belonged to the Karl Rembold printing works, which were both residential and factory buildings. The number 35 even had a Zollinger roof . After the reconstruction, the company was in place until 1981. In 2000 the company Cutting Crew of the Friseur GmbH was founded in house 35. There is also a dance school there.
