The Weinbergerstraße located just north of downtown Heilbronn and links the avenue with the Mannheimer Straße in the West and the East Road in the east. It is partly a federal highway and an important traffic artery in the north of the city. It was named after the small town of Weinsberg , in the direction of which the road lies. In the Weinsberger Straße there are, among other things, buildings that are under monument protection .
Buildings
- The north side of the Theaterforum K3 borders on Weinsberger Strasse, which is why there is an entrance there that connects the pedestrian zone with the north of the city.
- Not far from the Theaterforum is the Theater tram stop , which is served by the S41 and S42 lines.
- The Turkish-Islamic Cultural Association and a DITIB mosque have been located at number 7/1 since 1982.
- At number 19, the sculpture Invention P (1994) by Christian Hasucha hangs on a traffic sign . It is a 40 centimeter metal platform.
- On the north side of the Old Cemetery there are two current entrances and one locked entrance that can be reached via Weinsberger Strasse.
