Vincas Kęstutis Babilius

Vincas Kęstutis Babilius (born July 23, 1937 in Kaunas , † October 24, 2003 in Vilnius ) was a Lithuanian politician.

Life

From 1954 to 1959 he completed his degree in mechanics at the mechanical engineering faculty of the Kauno politechnikos institutas . He worked at the Vilnius plant . From 1962 he was a senior engineer and from 1982 to 1996 general director at Vilniaus elektros matavimo technikos gamykla ( electrical measuring technology plant ). From 1996 to 1999 he was Lithuania's Minister of Economic Affairs in the Vagnorius II cabinet (8th government).

He was vice-president of Lietuvos pramonininkų konfederacija , council chairman of "Litimpeks".
