Vincenzo Davico

Vincenzo Davico (born January 14, 1889 in Monaco , † December 8, 1969 in Rome ) was an Italian composer.

Vincenzo Davico studied in Turin and Leipzig with Max Reger . From 1918 Davico lived in Paris. The contact with French Impressionism had a strong impact on his music; but there are also German influences.

In addition to three operas , Davico created numerous vocal works that follow on from the German art song of the 19th century.
