The Vineta Festival is a theatrical performance that has been taking place in the Baltic resort of Zinnowitz on the island of Usedom since 1997 . The venue is the Ostseebühne Zinnowitz, an open-air stage and venue of the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne Anklam .

The performances take place four days a week from the end of June to the end of August. In addition to the classic theater techniques, technical elements such as laser shows and pyrotechnic effects are also used. The performances of three consecutive years each form a content-related trilogy .

The number of visitors is 800 to 1,200 per performance and thus around 20,000 to 25,000 per year. In 2006, the tenth anniversary, in August the total number of 250,000 visitors since the first performance was exceeded.
