Bramwith Motor Company Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles and one of several companies using the Vintage brand name .

prehistory

Alan Beillby founded Heritage Vintage & Classic Vehicles in 1996 , which later became the Vintage Motor Company and Vintage Replicas . In 1998 the production of automobiles began, which were marketed as vintage . In 2004, Asquith Motors took over and founded Asquith Vintage Classics .

Company history

Bramwith Motor Company was founded on May 23, 2007. Matthew Dowd was the director and Alan Edward Beilby was secretary. The seat was either in Doncaster or in Cleckheaton . Beilby left the company on September 1, 2007. Richard Andrew Byrne also became a director on April 14, 2008. On October 29, 2008, Matthew Dowd retired. On May 22, 2009, Matthew O. Dowd became brief director. On July 5, 2009, Byrne retired. Ian Michael Sykes became the new director on September 7, 2009. Production ended in 2010. Up to then 125 vehicles had been built.

AWS Limited from Ellesmere Port took over leftovers from the company in 2010 and continued production. The brand name remained unchanged. This became Branford Motor Company Limited from Ness in 2013 .

vehicles

Vehicles in the style of the 1930s were on offer. The vehicles were similar to the Ford Model A from 1928 to 1931. The Badsworth was a landaulet . Barnsdale and Bramwith were limousines. The sometimes particularly long bodies offered space for seven to eight people. The vehicles were often used for wedding trips. The Ryecroft was a four-door touring car .

The Branton was a panel van and the Skelbrooke was a pickup truck .
