Vincent Dresl

Vinzenz Dresl (born February 25, 1934 in Steyr ) is a former Upper Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and employee. Dresl was a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament from 1979 to 1989 .

Dresl attended primary and secondary school and learned the profession of lathe operator before completing a three-month course at the Volkswirtschaftsschule in Graz . He was an apprentice and skilled worker in the Steyr works and joined the ÖGB in 1964, where he was secretary of the metal-mining-energy union in Steyr. From 1974 onwards, Dresl was also the Chamber Councilor for the Chamber of Labor and Employees for Upper Austria. Dresl was a local councilor in Steyr for twelve years and chairman of the Steyr 23 SPÖ section. Between October 25, 1979 and December 13, 1989, Dresl represented the SPÖ in the Upper Austrian state parliament.
