Viper in Six Flags Great America ( Gurnee , Illinois ) is a wooden roller coaster manufactured by the park itself and opened on April 29, 1995. It's also the only roller coaster ever built by Six Flags . The route is based on the Cyclone of Coney Island .

The 1054 m long route reaches a height of 31 m and has a descent of 24 m. The maximum speed is 81 km / h and the track has a maximum gradient of 53 °.

Trains

Viper owns two trains made by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters , each with five cars. Six people (three rows of two people) can be seated in each car. The passengers must be at least 1.22 m tall to be allowed to ride.
