Vipers InnerSchwyz is a Swiss floorball club from the canton of Schwyz, which was created in 1999 from the merger of the three local clubs UHC Zam Goldau, UHC Steinen and UHC Black Rebels Rothenthurm.
history
The three local clubs from Goldau , Steinen and Rothenthurm were at the beginning of the Central Schwyz floorball scene . The Rothenthurmers achieved one of the greatest successes of these three clubs. In 1998 the Black Rebels Rothenthurm won the Swiss League Cup in the small field. However, it was already clear at that time that the future of the unihockey sport would take place on the large field. For this reason, the first plans to merge the three clubs were forged. In 1999 the merger of these clubs fact and the new club Vipers InnerSchwyz was founded.
In 2001 the first team of Vipers InnerSchwyz played their first season on the large field in the second division and immediately made it to the first division. The team developed continuously and won the group in the 2006/2007 season. However, the subsequent play-offs against Iron Marmots Davos-Klosters were lost. The current trainer is Sascha Brendler , who also trains the Swiss women's national team.

Large field
In 2001 the first team of Vipers InnerSchwyz played their first season on the large field in the second division and immediately made it to the first division. Small field
In the first small field season (1999/2000) the first team of the Vipers InnerSchwyz won the Swiss championship. At the same time she qualified for the Cup final in Bern, which was lost to UHC Laupen in extra time. The senior team continued the small field successes: Since the 2004/2005 season, the Swiss championship cup has moved to central Switzerland.
