Virginijus Grabliauskas
Virginijus Grabliauskas (born June 21, 1972 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian chess player .
Life
After graduating from the 44th Vilnius Middle School, Grabliauskas graduated from the Communication Faculty of Vilnius University in 1995 . From 1994 to 2004 he worked at "ZPR International Inc." as an analyst and assistant. From 2004 to 2007 Grabliauskas was a financial analyst for the investment company “Investicijų portfelių valdymas”. Since 2008 he has been the director of the VšĮ "Nacionalinė šachmatų lyga" institution.
Grabliauskas has held the title of International Master since 1994 and Correspondence Chess Grandmaster since 2010 . He was Lithuanian individual champion in 1997 and took part in the European team championship with the Lithuanian national team in the same year . Grabliauskas took part in the European Club Cup eight times with teams from Vilnius , namely in 1994 and 1995 with Kaisė , 1996 with the chess school , 2005 to 2007 with NSEL30 and in 2008 and 2009 with VŠŠSM .
