Virtual home staging

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Virtual home staging (also called virtual home staging) is a subtype of classic home staging . An interior designer or interior decorator creates a digital model of the room (s) with the help of special software and the existing floor plans. This type of home staging is particularly popular with real estate agents and also with large real estate exchanges. By digitally enhancing properties that are obviously in need of renovation, the price achieved on the property market in particular should be increased significantly.

advantages

Especially compared to classic home staging, in which real estate is upgraded with furniture and decorative elements on site, virtual home staging is significantly cheaper (up to 90% lower costs) and can be implemented with less effort. It is also possible to make far-reaching changes to the floor plan or the room layout of a property without having to actively intervene in the building fabric.

Virtual home staging is also used in the run-up to a new building project. In contrast to a simple visualization of the planned new building, this technology allows rooms, entire apartments or even entire houses to be filled with attractive furniture and other decorative objects. In this way, potential customers can get an impression of the completed and furnished property before the construction work begins.
