Viscount Chilston
Viscount Chilston , of Boughton Malherbe in the County of Kent , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
The Viscount family residence is the Old Rectory in Twyford near Winchester in Hampshire .
Award and history of the title
The title was created on July 6, 1911 for the Conservative MP and former Interior Minister Aretas Akers-Douglas . Along with the Viscount title he was given the subordinate title Baron Douglas of Baads , in the County of Midlothian .
Today's title holder is his great-grandson Alastair Akers-Douglas as 4th Viscount.
