Scott Gallacher (born July 15, 1989 in Bellshill ) is a Scottish football goalkeeper who plays for FC Arbroath .

Career

society

Scott Gallacher was born in 1989 in Bellshill, a suburb of the Glasgow metropolis . He began his career in the youth of the Glasgow Rangers , for whom he played until 2006. Before making his Rangers debut , Gallacher was loaned to the Scottish fourth division club FC Cowdenbeath for one season . After seven missions, he returned to the Gers in May 2009 . Without commitment at his hometown club, Gallacher was awarded for two years to the third division Forfar Athletic from 2010 to 2012 . On July 28, 2013 Gallacher made his debut for the Rangers in the 1st round of the Challenge Cup against the Albion Rovers . The goalkeeper played for Airdrieonians FC on loan from September 2013 to April 2014 . In July 2014, the 25-year-old joined Heart of Midlothian with fellow goalkeeper Neil Alexander from Glasgow and signed a two-year contract. Gallacher completed three league games as the second goalkeeper behind Alexander at Hearts . He made his debut against the Rangers on matchday 1 of the 2014/15 season when he came on for the injured Alexander. In September 2015, Gallacher was awarded a one-month loan to Forfar Athletic. From January to July 2016 he was on loan at Alloa Athletic 15 times. His expiring contract with the capital city club was not extended after his return. He then signed a contract with FC St. Mirren . In January 2017 he moved to Hibernian Edinburgh .

National team

Scott Gallacher made his debut for Scotland in the U-19s against Ukraine in 2007 . In 2008 and 2010 he stood between the posts for the U-21s against Northern Ireland and Sweden .
