Viscount Harberton
Viscount Harberton is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of Ireland .
Today the Viscount family residence is Rockfield House in Nunney, Somerset .
Award and subordinate titles
The title was created on July 5, 1791 for the politician Arthur Pomeroy, 1st Baron Harberton . This was from 1761 to 1783 MP for Kildare in the Irish House of Commons . As early as October 10, 1783, the subordinate title Baron Harberton , of Carbery in the County of Kildare , had been awarded to him.
Today's title holder has been his great-great-great-grandson Henry Pomeroy, 11th Viscount Harberton , since 2004 .
