Viscount Monckton of Brenchley , of Brenchley in the County of Kent , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was created on February 11, 1957 for the House of Commons and Paymaster General Sir Walter Turner Monckton . He was Minister of Labor from 1951 to 1955 and Minister of Defense from 1955 to 1956 .
