Viscount Newhaven
Viscount (of) Newhaven was a hereditary British title in the Peerage of Scotland .
The title was conferred on May 17, 1681 by King Charles II of the House of Commons and Clerk of the Pipe Charles Cheyne . Along with the Viscount title he was awarded the subordinate title of Lord Cheyne .
Both titles expired on the death of his son, the 2nd Viscount, on May 26, 1728.
