Viscount Scudamore
Viscount Scudamore , in the County of Sligo , was a hereditary British title in the Peerage of Ireland .
The Viscount family seat was Holme Lacy in Herefordshire .
Award and subordinate titles
The title was given to the English politician and diplomat Sir John Scudamore, 1st Baronet , on July 1, 1628 . Together with the Viscount title he was awarded the subordinate title of Baron Dromore . As early as June 1, 1620, he had been raised in the Baronetage of England to the Baronet , of Holme Lacy in the County of Hereford.
The title expired on December 2, 1716 with the death of his great-grandson, the 3rd Viscount.
