Vishvakarman
Vishvakarman or Vishvakarma ( Sanskrit विश्वकर्मन् viśvakarman or विश्वकर्मा viśvakarmā m. "The all-creating") is the divine builder and also the creator of the world in Hinduism , which is why he can be equated with Prajapati . His person was only developed in the late Vedism and shows early traces of an all-divine power. He was later regarded as the divine builder of the universe and the forefather of all arts.
myth
The epic Ramayana says that Vishvakarman built the city of Lanka, which was inhabited by Ravana and the Rakshasas . According to the Puranas, he forged the weapons of the gods, including the disc of Vishnu , the trident of Shiva and the spear of Karttikeya , which is why he is sometimes equated with Tvashtri .
