The Visionaire is a fashion and art magazine from New York .
The magazine has already achieved cult status in the art scene and is traded for immense prices for individual magazine issues. A collection from issues 1 to 48 was sold at Sotheby’s for £ 20,400 (around € 23,600).
Each issue appears in a limited edition and in a different format and deals with a different overarching topic such as The Orient , Erotica or Gold . Sometimes art objects, jewelry or clothing are also included. The artists, painters, photographers and fashion designers are given a free hand in interpreting the topic.
