Vita Andersen

Vita Andersen (born October 29, 1944 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish author . In addition to adult books, she also writes children's books.

She has received numerous awards for her work. Her greatest successes so far were the novel Which hand do you want? and the children's book Petrushka's patent leather shoes . The latter made it onto the shortlist for the German Youth Literature Prize in 1993 .

She lives in Copenhagen with her family.
