Fleece (from Latin vellus "wool", "sheepskin") means:
- in the original sense the coat of the domestic sheep , in particular the wool cohered in a flat piece after shearing
- in the broader sense, all fabrics made from fibers that stick together, see nonwovens
- in mythology the golden fleece
