Fließ (body of water)
Fliess ( neuter ) is an old word for a watercourse. In Brandenburg , Berlin and Saxony it is still used today as a hydronym for brook (waters) . In Mark-Brandenburg dialects it is called Fliët. In Low German it corresponds to the Fleth or Fleet , in Dutch the Vliet (waters) .
