The bird Glacier is a glacier on the Danco Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows into the Bay of Flanders 5 km southeast of Cape Willems .
The glacier is still unnamed and first shown on an Argentine map from 1952. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the German photo chemist Hermann Wilhelm Vogel (1834–1898), who in 1873 produced the first orthochromatic photo films.
