Vogtland Cyclists Association

The Vogtland Cyclists Association (VR-B.) Was founded in 1895. Other sources mention 1894 as the year of foundation. The last time the Vogtland Cyclists Association was listed in the Plauen address book in 1906/07. From 1907 a Vogtland motor driver association existed in Plauen. Whether this new association from the VR-B. emerged is still being researched.

In 1906 the Vogtland Cyclists Association had around 300 members. In 1906 the chairman was the knitting machine owner Oskar Winkler in Plauen . The admission fee was three marks and the annual fee four marks.

The national newspaper of the VR-B. appeared weekly in Zeulenroda in 1906 .
