Voice of Peace is the name of a pirate broadcaster that has been promoting the reconciliation of Arabs for many years under the slogan From somewhere in the Mediterranean, we are the Voice of Peace (from somewhere in the Mediterranean, we are the voice of peace) and deployed Israelis. Voice of Peace was founded and operated by Abie Nathan in 1973 . For almost 20 years, the radio station was based on the Panama-registered motor ship "Peace", a former Dutch cargo ship ( MS Cito ) that was anchored outside the three-mile zone off Tel Aviv .

On October 1, 1993, Voice of Peace aired its last broadcast. The reason for this was, on the one hand, the poor condition of the broadcasting ship and, on the other hand, the mutual recognition of Israel and the PLO, which led to a (temporary) end to the broadcasters' concern and the lack of a lot of advertising revenue. Since there were no sponsors or interested parties for the ship, it was sunk off the Israeli coast near Ashdod .
