Voima ( Eng. 'Strength' or 'strength') is a national, socially critical , Finnish newspaper in tabloid format. In terms of content, the articles in the newspaper deal with social and cultural issues, often in terms of counterculture and from an urban perspective.

Voima is distributed free of charge and is mainly financed by advertisements. Around half of the approx. 700 display locations are located in the Helsinki capital region , with further focal points in Tampere and Turku . Bookshops, libraries, cinemas, bus stations, cafes, universities, theaters and museums serve as display locations. The circulation is 70,000.

The first issue appeared in December 1999, and since 2000 Voima has appeared ten times a year. In 2001 the Voima editorial team was awarded the State Prize for Information Publication (Tiedonjulkistamisen valtionpalkinto).

From 2007 Voima published the Finnish-language edition of the French newspaper Le Monde diplomatique .
