Volán

Volán is the largest bus transport company in Hungary . The name was borrowed from French and also means "the steering wheel" in Hungarian (in the sense of vehicle steering). Each county has its own Volán name. Since the rail network in Hungary is relatively ailing and, for reasons of profitability, there have been regular connections almost only on the main axes for some years, rural areas in particular are only accessible from the Volán.
