Volker Asshoff

Volker Aßhoff is a former German basketball player .

career

Aßhoff played in the youth of TV Arminius Wickede. He was part of the SSV Hagen squad in the basketball league from 1976 and remained in the team until 1986. With Hagen he also played in the European Cup.

Aßhoff played 69 times for the German national team and took part in the 1981 European Championship.

As a trainer, he led ASC 09 Dortmund in 1989 for promotion to the 2nd basketball division .
