Volker Kispert (born August 25, 1961 in Mosbach ) is a former German soccer player . The defender came from the youth of SV Waldhof Mannheim .

Volker Kispert began his football career as a 10-year-old in the youth team of FC Freya Limbach in the Odenwald. There he played until 1978 and then moved to the A-youth of SV Waldhof Mannheim. He became a youth national player here and completed three youth international matches. In 1980 he won the German championship with the A-youth . In the same year he made the leap into the professional squad of Mannheim, who played in the 2nd Bundesliga . He completed a total of 22 second division games for the blue-blacks. Kispert was part of the promotion team from 1983. As the first in the table, SV Waldhof Mannheim was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga. Kispert moved to SV Darmstadt 98 . He played for Darmstadt until 1990. He was used in 196 second division games and scored a total of nine goals. Kispert's other positions were TSG Pfeddersheim , SV Mörlenbach and VfR Bürstadt .
