Volker Knoop
Volker Knoop (born July 13, 1963 in Dortmund ) is a German evolutionary biologist. He is head of the molecular evolution department at the Institute for Cellular & Molecular Botany at the University of Bonn .
Life
Volker Knoop studied biochemistry and did his doctorate in Berlin. He was at the University of Ulm and has been working at the University of Bonn since 2002 . His research deals with the mitochondrial DNA of plants and the tribal history of early land plants.
