Volker Langholf

Volker Langholf (* 1940 ) is a German classical philologist and medical historian .

Life

He worked on the lexicon of the early Greek epic . From 1989 to 1999 he was co-editor of the Index Hippocraticus . After completing his habilitation in 1984, he was awarded the title of private lecturer and in 1999 the title of professor . He retired in 2005.
