Volker Schenk

Volker Schenk (born February 18, 1976 ) is a former German football player .

career

Schenk played in the Football Bundesliga for the Munich Cowboys and also in the 1997 season for Frankfurt Galaxy in the World League of American Football .

With Germany's national team, Schenk, who was used in defense, came second at the 2000 European Championship.

During the 2006 season he took over the management of the Munich Cowboys with Markus Schuster as coach and was responsible for coordinating the defense. In 2017, the graduate communications specialist became the stadium  spokesman for the first division club Frankfurt Universe , and in 2018 he temporarily held the same position for the Braunschweig Lions . In October 2018 he accused the now bankrupt Frankfurt Universe team that he had only received a small part of the remuneration agreed for his stadium announcement work.

As a commentator and football expert Schenk worked for television broadcasts already for different channels and providers, including DAZN , Euro Sports , ProSieben Maxx and ran.de . He also works as a moderator, speaker and motivational and career trainer for individuals and companies.
