Volkmar Steininger

Volkmar Steininger (* 1970 in Triftern ) is a German television and book author .

Life

Steininger completed his training as a radio and television editor. He works as a producer for television companies. Since 2000 he has been writing skits for the ARD show Do you understand fun? He made his debut as a book author in 2010 with the historical homeland novel Die Bayerische Elsässerin . The following year his first crime novel Mordhexe appeared , which initiated the start of a crime series. In 2012 he published a science fiction novel called Sharkon Battle for Mars . In spring 2013, the second volume from the murder witch crime series Mordshexe-Flucht nach Bodenmais was published . The film adaptation of the novel Die Bayerische Elsässerin is also in preparation. Together with his brothers, he is also developing a comedy format for the MDR . He lives in the Rottal in Lower Bavaria. In 2014 Volkmar Steininger was appointed Senator for the Senate of Economics. At the end of 2015, the third volume of the murder witch crime series Mordshexe-Im Bann der Runen was published.
